1. Introduction

Welcome to 4trip.ai ("we," "us," or "our"). 4trip.ai is a travel planning website that leverages artificial intelligence technology to help users create personalized trip itineraries and day-by-day travel plans. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

2. Service Description

4trip.ai is an AI-powered travel planning platform that helps users create personalized trip itineraries and day-by-day travel plans. Our service is available through our website at 4trip.ai and through our mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (collectively, the "Service"). Our service utilizes multiple AI models for intelligent trip planning, integrates with various map platforms for location services, and connects to multiple trip data platforms to provide comprehensive travel information including flight and hotel search capabilities. Users can create accounts, store trip preferences, and access personalized itineraries through our platform.

2.1 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The itineraries and travel recommendations generated by our AI are provided for informational and planning purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful suggestions, the AI-generated content may not always be complete, up-to-date, or error-free. You should independently verify all travel details, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, and activities, before making any arrangements.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To use certain features of 4trip.ai, you must create an account through our supported authentication methods. By creating an account, you authorize us to access certain profile information as necessary to provide our services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. User-Generated Content and Trip Data

You may create, upload, and store trip preferences, custom itineraries, and other travel-related data ("User Content") on our platform. You retain ownership of your User Content but grant 4trip.ai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely to provide and improve our services.

You agree not to upload or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

4.1 Imported Content and Third-Party Material

4trip.ai provides features that allow you to import travel itineraries, trip plans, and related content from external sources such as PDFs, documents, or other formats ("Imported Content"). By using these import features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

4.1.1 Ownership and Permission Requirements

YOU MAY ONLY IMPORT CONTENT THAT YOU OWN OR HAVE EXPLICIT PERMISSION TO USE. By importing content into 4trip.ai, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the original creator and copyright owner of the content; OR
  • You have obtained explicit written permission from the copyright owner to import, reproduce, and use the content on our platform; OR
  • The content is in the public domain or licensed under terms that permit such use (e.g., Creative Commons licenses that allow reproduction and modification).

4.1.2 User Responsibility and Indemnification

4TRIP.AI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPORTED CONTENT. You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the legal right to import and use any content
  • Verifying the accuracy and legality of Imported Content
  • Any copyright infringement, intellectual property violations, or legal claims arising from your Imported Content
  • Any consequences resulting from importing content without proper authorization

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 4trip.ai, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your Imported Content or your violation of any third party's intellectual property rights.

4.1.3 Attribution and Original Source

When importing content created by others (with their permission), you should provide proper attribution including:

  • The original creator's name or trademark
  • A link to the original source when available
  • Any attribution requirements specified by the content owner

Providing attribution does not substitute for obtaining proper permission. Attribution is an acknowledgment of the source, not a license to use the content.

4.1.4 Featured Content and Community Sharing

4trip.ai may feature certain user-created or imported trips in our "Featured" or "Discover" sections to inspire other travelers. Regarding featured content:

  • User-Created Content: By making your originally-created trips public, you grant 4trip.ai permission to feature them on our platform with attribution to you.
  • Third-Party Content: We will NOT feature Imported Content from third-party sources in our Featured sections without first obtaining explicit permission from the original content owner.
  • Removal Requests: If you are a content owner and believe your content has been featured without authorization, please contact us at support@4trip.ai and we will promptly investigate and remove the content if appropriate.

4.1.5 Prohibited Content

You may NOT import content that:

  • Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • You do not own or have permission to use
  • Contains personal information of third parties without their consent
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

4.1.6 Content Removal

4trip.ai reserves the right to remove any Imported Content at any time, without notice, if we believe in good faith that such content infringes intellectual property rights, violates these Terms, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these import content policies.

4.2 Content Import and Creator Revenue Sharing Program

4trip.ai offers a Creator Revenue Sharing Program designed to compensate original content creators when their travel content is imported and used on our platform. This program operates in compliance with U.S. copyright law and is intended to foster a fair ecosystem for travel content creators.

4.2.1 Revenue Sharing Overview

When travel content (including itineraries, guides, and trip plans) from external sources such as URLs, PDFs, or documents is imported into 4trip.ai and generates revenue through user engagement, affiliate commissions, or other monetization channels, we commit to sharing a portion of that revenue with the original content creators. Revenue sharing may take the following forms:

  • Digital Payments: Direct monetary compensation paid to verified content creators through supported payment methods (e.g., bank transfer, PayPal, or other digital payment platforms).
  • Promotion: Featured placement of the creator's profile, content, or external channels on our platform to increase visibility and audience reach.
  • Partnership Opportunities: Invitations to participate in exclusive partnership programs, sponsored content creation, or collaborative marketing initiatives.

The specific revenue share percentage, payment frequency, and eligibility criteria are detailed in our separate Creator Revenue Sharing Policy, which may be updated from time to time. Participation in the revenue sharing program is subject to creator verification and compliance with these Terms.

4.2.2 Creator Registration and Verification

To receive revenue sharing benefits, content creators must:

  • Register on 4trip.ai: Create a verified creator account on our platform.
  • Verify Ownership: Provide proof of ownership or authorship of the original content (e.g., website ownership verification, social media account linkage, or other documentation).
  • Claim Content: Submit a content ownership claim through our Creator Dashboard identifying the imported content and providing evidence of original authorship.
  • Provide Payment Information: Submit valid payment details for receiving digital payments.

4trip.ai reserves the right to verify all ownership claims and may request additional documentation. We may reject claims that cannot be adequately verified or that appear fraudulent.

4.2.3 Reserved Revenue Pool for Unregistered Creators

When imported content generates revenue but the original creator has not yet registered on 4trip.ai or claimed ownership, we will reserve the creator's share of revenue in a dedicated pool ("Reserved Revenue Pool"). The following terms apply:

  • Revenue Reservation: The creator's portion of revenue generated from their content will be calculated and held in the Reserved Revenue Pool.
  • Good Faith Efforts: Where reasonably possible, 4trip.ai may attempt to notify or locate original content creators through publicly available contact information to inform them of pending revenue.
  • Claim Period: Original content creators have twenty-four (24) months from the date revenue is first generated from their content to register, verify ownership, and claim their reserved funds.
  • Expiration of Unclaimed Funds: IMPORTANT: Any reserved revenue that remains unclaimed after the 24-month claim period will become non-collectible and will be forfeited. Forfeited funds may be used by 4trip.ai for platform operations, creator community initiatives, or other business purposes at our sole discretion.
  • No Interest: Reserved funds do not accrue interest while held in the Reserved Revenue Pool.
  • Minimum Threshold: A minimum payment threshold may apply. Reserved amounts below the threshold will be accumulated until the threshold is met or the claim period expires.

4.2.4 Content Attribution and Source Linking

When content is imported from external sources, 4trip.ai will:

  • Display Attribution: Provide visible attribution to the original source, including creator name or brand (when known) and a link to the original content where available.
  • Preserve Source Information: Maintain records of the original source URL or document from which content was imported.
  • Honor Attribution Requests: Update or correct attribution information upon verified request from the original content owner.

Users who import content are responsible for providing accurate source information at the time of import. Deliberately providing false attribution information is a violation of these Terms.

4.2.5 Opt-Out and Content Removal Rights

Original content creators retain the right to:

  • Opt Out of Revenue Sharing: Decline participation in the revenue sharing program while still having their content removed from the platform.
  • Request Content Removal: Submit a removal request at any time to have their content taken down from 4trip.ai, regardless of revenue sharing status.
  • Block Future Imports: Request that their content domains or sources be added to our import blocklist to prevent future unauthorized imports.

Removal requests should be submitted to creators@4trip.ai or through our DMCA takedown process described in Section 4.3.

4.3 Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Compliance

4trip.ai respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and other applicable copyright laws. We are committed to responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable intellectual property laws.

4.3.1 DMCA Safe Harbor

4trip.ai operates as an online service provider under the DMCA safe harbor provisions. We do not manually review all user-imported content before it appears on our platform. However, we have implemented procedures to respond expeditiously to valid takedown notices and to address repeat infringement.

4.3.2 Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and made accessible on 4trip.ai in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on our platform (including specific URLs or sufficient information to locate the material).
  • Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

4.3.3 Designated Copyright Agent

DMCA takedown notices should be sent to our designated copyright agent:

  • Mail: 4trip.ai DMCA Agent, [Address to be provided upon registration with U.S. Copyright Office]

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

4.3.4 Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, the Northern District of California), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material within 10-14 business days, unless the copyright owner files a court action against you.

4.3.5 Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, 4trip.ai maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our platform and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

4.3.6 Copyright Compliance and Fair Use

4trip.ai's content import and AI-powered itinerary generation features are designed to operate within the bounds of U.S. copyright law, including the fair use doctrine under 17 U.S.C. § 107. We consider the following factors when processing imported content:

  • Purpose and Character: Imported content is transformed for personal trip planning purposes and may be combined with AI-generated recommendations.
  • Nature of the Work: We respect the creative nature of travel content and provide attribution to original sources.
  • Amount Used: Our systems are designed to extract relevant travel information rather than reproduce entire works verbatim.
  • Market Impact: Our revenue sharing program is designed to benefit rather than harm the market for original travel content.

Notwithstanding the above, we will promptly respond to valid DMCA takedown notices and remove infringing content as required by law.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the 4trip.ai platform, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated content (excluding User Content), are owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy and Data Usage

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using 4trip.ai, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy, including data obtained through authentication services, trip preferences, and usage analytics.

7. Third-Party Services

4trip.ai integrates with various third-party services to provide its features, including multiple AI models for trip planning, various map platforms for location services, and multiple trip data platforms for comprehensive travel information.

Use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these services.

7.1 Affiliate Programs and Partner Relationships

AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE: 4trip.ai participates in affiliate marketing programs and earns commissions from bookings made through affiliate links on our platform. This is how we monetize our free travel planning service and keep it available to all users.

7.1.1 How Affiliate Links Work

When you click on certain links for hotels, flights, activities, or restaurant reservations and complete a booking, we may receive a commission from the service provider. These affiliate partnerships include, but are not limited to:

  • Booking.com - Hotel reservations
  • Expedia - Hotels and flights
  • Skyscanner - Flight search and comparison
  • Viator - Tours and activities
  • TripAdvisor - Restaurant reviews and travel recommendations
  • OpenTable - Restaurant reservations
  • Other travel service providers as disclosed on our platform

7.1.2 No Additional Cost to You

IMPORTANT: Using our affiliate links does NOT increase the price you pay. The prices displayed through our affiliate links are the same as (or sometimes better than) what you would pay by going directly to the service provider's website. The commission we earn comes from the service provider's marketing budget, not from additional charges to you.

7.1.3 Our Editorial Independence

While we receive commissions from affiliate partnerships, our recommendations and travel planning suggestions are based on:

  • AI-powered analysis of your travel preferences and requirements
  • User ratings, reviews, and feedback
  • Location relevance and quality indicators
  • Comprehensive travel data from multiple sources

We strive to provide objective recommendations that serve your travel planning needs. However, you should be aware that affiliate relationships may influence which service providers are featured or recommended on our platform.

7.1.4 No Guarantee or Endorsement

Our inclusion of affiliate links does NOT constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of the quality, safety, or suitability of any third-party service provider. You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting service providers, reading their terms and conditions, and making informed booking decisions.

7.1.5 Tracking and Cookies

Affiliate links may use cookies, tracking pixels, or other technologies to track referrals and attribute commissions. When you click an affiliate link, the service provider may set cookies on your device to track your activity and any resulting bookings. For more information about how we and our affiliate partners use tracking technologies, please see our Privacy Policy.

7.1.6 FTC Compliance

In compliance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, we disclose that 4trip.ai has financial relationships with the companies mentioned above and may be compensated if you use their services through our affiliate links. This disclosure is made pursuant to 16 CFR § 255.5: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.

7.1.7 Third-Party Brand Assets and Trademarks

COPYRIGHT NOTICE: All third-party brand assets (including logos, trademarks, and images) displayed on this platform are used for editorial purposes only in the context of identifying and referencing their respective services. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners:

  • Expedia Group brand assets (including Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo logos) are ©Expedia Group. All rights reserved.
  • Booking.com brand assets (including logos and trademarks) are ©Booking.com. All rights reserved.
  • Other affiliate partner brand assets (including Skyscanner, Viator, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and other service providers) are owned by their respective companies.

EDITORIAL USE ONLY: We use all third-party brand assets solely for editorial purposes to identify and reference their services in connection with our affiliate partnerships. We do not claim any ownership of these assets and acknowledge that all intellectual property rights, including trademarks, logos, and brand identities, belong to their respective owners.

NO WARRANTIES: All third-party brand assets are provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. The respective trademark owners disclaim all implied warranties regarding these assets. We are solely responsible for the consequences of using these brand assets on our platform in accordance with each company's terms and conditions.

NO ENDORSEMENT: The display of third-party logos and trademarks does not imply endorsement of 4trip.ai by these companies, nor does it imply our endorsement of their products or services beyond our role as an affiliate partner.

8. Travel Activities, Booking, and Offline Interactions

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER - NO BOOKING OR OFFLINE RESPONSIBILITY: 4trip.ai is exclusively a digital travel planning platform and bears NO RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever for any bookings, offline interactions, activities, services, or events that occur during your actual travel. We provide planning tools and suggestions only - we do not book, reserve, or guarantee any travel services.

BOOKING DISCLAIMER: 4trip.ai does NOT book flights, hotels, tours, activities, or any other travel services on your behalf. Any booking links or search results are provided for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for making your own bookings directly with service providers, confirming all reservations, and ensuring all booking terms and conditions are acceptable to you.

4trip.ai is NOT responsible for:

  • All bookings and reservations: Flight bookings, hotel reservations, tour bookings, activity reservations, or any other travel service bookings made by you
  • Booking issues: Cancellations, delays, changes, overbooking, pricing errors, payment failures, or non-performance by any booking platform or service provider
  • All offline interactions: Any interactions with tour guides, local service providers, hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, or any other individuals or businesses you encounter during travel
  • Service quality and safety: Quality, safety, availability, or condition of accommodations, activities, transportation, or any services you book or encounter
  • Personal safety: Personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, loss, or any harm to persons or property during travel
  • Legal matters: Legal disputes, violations, penalties, or issues arising from bookings or interactions with third-party providers
  • Financial transactions: Payment disputes, pricing changes, currency fluctuations, booking fees, or financial losses related to any bookings or services
  • External factors: Weather conditions, natural disasters, political situations, strikes, terrorism, pandemics, or other events affecting your bookings or travel

YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY: You acknowledge and accept that you are entirely responsible for: making and confirming all bookings independently, reading and accepting all booking terms and conditions, obtaining travel insurance, ensuring health and safety precautions, complying with all local laws and regulations, verifying travel documents and requirements, and managing all aspects of your travel experience.

MANDATORY RECOMMENDATIONS: We strongly urge you to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, verify all booking details independently, consult official government travel advisories, and exercise appropriate caution throughout your travels. 4trip.ai's role is limited to providing digital planning assistance only.

9. Limitation of Liability

4trip.ai provides travel recommendations and itinerary suggestions as a convenience. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any travel information or third-party services. You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and uncertainties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4trip.ai, its affiliates, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to travel delays, cancellations, losses, or injuries.

10. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep 4trip.ai available and operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination of Accounts

You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion procedures on the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful or unlawful conduct.

Upon termination, your access to User Content and the service will cease. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

12. Mobile Application Terms

The following additional terms apply when you access 4trip.ai through our mobile application ("App") available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

12.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on mobile devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not allow you to use the App on any device that you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

12.2 App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (each, an "App Store"), you acknowledge and agree that:

  • These Terms are between you and 4trip.ai only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"). 4trip.ai, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Your use of the App must comply with the App Store's current terms of service.
  • Apple and Google have no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.
  • 4trip.ai is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google, and they may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • 4trip.ai, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, 4trip.ai, not Apple or Google, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

12.3 Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you additionally acknowledge and agree that:

  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
  • You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App (e.g., your wireless data service agreement).
  • The license granted herein is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

12.4 Google Play-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from Google Play Store, you additionally acknowledge and agree that:

  • Google and each member of the group of companies comprising Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and will be entitled to directly enforce, and rely upon, any provision of these Terms that confers a benefit on (or rights in favor of) them.
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and third-party terms when using the App.
  • Google is not responsible for the App or any content therein, and Google has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.

12.5 Mobile Device Permissions

The App may request access to certain features and data on your mobile device, including but not limited to:

  • Location Services: To provide location-based travel recommendations and mapping features.
  • Camera: To allow you to capture and upload photos for your trips.
  • Photo Library: To allow you to select and upload existing photos.
  • Push Notifications: To send you updates about your trips and travel alerts.
  • Network Access: To connect to our services and third-party APIs.

You can manage these permissions through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit the functionality of the App.

12.6 In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer products and services for purchase ("In-App Purchases"), including auto-renewing subscription plans. If you choose to make an In-App Purchase:

  • All payments will be processed through the applicable App Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account.
  • You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes associated with your In-App Purchases.
  • Prices may vary by location and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

12.6.1 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions

4trip.ai offers auto-renewing subscription plans that provide premium features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following terms:

  • Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you originally paid, unless otherwise notified of a price change.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to premium features until that time.
  • No Refund for Current Period: If you cancel during an active subscription period, you will not receive a refund or credit for the unused portion of that period. Your subscription benefits will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. The subscription will begin immediately upon purchase.

12.6.2 Managing Your Subscription

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time through your device settings:

  • iOS (Apple): Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, select 4trip.ai, and tap "Cancel Subscription" or manage your renewal preferences.
  • Android (Google Play): Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions, select 4trip.ai, and tap "Cancel Subscription" or manage your renewal preferences.

Deleting the App from your device does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the steps above to stop future charges.

12.6.3 Refunds

Refunds for In-App Purchases and subscriptions are subject to the refund policies of the applicable App Store (Apple or Google). 4trip.ai does not process refunds directly. To request a refund:

12.7 App Updates

We may from time to time develop and provide App updates, which may include upgrades, bug fixes, patches, and other error corrections or new features. You agree that 4trip.ai has no obligation to provide any updates or to continue to provide or enable any particular features or functionality. You may be required to download and install updates to continue using the App.

13. Web Purchases and Stripe Payments

In addition to in-app purchases through App Stores, 4trip.ai may offer products, services, and subscriptions for purchase through our website using Stripe as our payment processor.

13.1 Stripe Payment Processing

When you make a purchase through our website:

  • Payment Processor: All web payments are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Security: 4trip.ai does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification.

13.4 Web Purchase Refunds

For refund requests on web purchases processed through Stripe:

  • Include your account email and transaction details
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • Partial refunds may be issued at our discretion for partially used subscription periods
